Nitainlaii Territorial Park

This park is perched on a cliff overlooking the Peel River and surrounded by stands of white birch and white spruce trees. This is an ideal place to unwind for a few nights on the long journey up or down the Dempster. Spend time in the visitor centre for a fascinating glimpse of the life of the Gwich’in Dene people, past and present.


This park features 23 non-powered sites. Nitainlaii Territorial Campground does not have internet access, therefore campsites are not available for booking with the online reservation system. If you are wanting to book a campsites at this campground, camping permits can be obtained on-site upon arrival.
